One recording, two useful tracks
1. Drop your file
Any video or song. We start in music mode, which suits songs and soundtracks. For wind, fans or street sounds, re-run the result in noise mode for free.
2. Separate the sound
Your browser reads the audio. Our GPU server separates it into voice and the remaining background. The picture stays on your device.
3. Keep what you need
Compare at the same moment in the recording, then export voice or background as MP3, WAV or FLAC. Videos can keep their original picture.

Voice isolator vs vocal remover
The two names describe the same split from opposite ends. A voice isolator is for when the voice is what you want. A vocal remover is for when you want the song without the singer.
| What matters | Voice isolator | Vocal remover |
|---|---|---|
| What you keep | The voice: speech or singing | The music without the vocals |
| What it removes | Music, or background noise like wind, traffic and hum | The vocals |
| Typical recordings | Interviews, vlogs, podcasts, lectures, phone videos, songs | Songs |
| Typical uses | Clean dialogue for an edit, subtitles or a transcript; an a cappella for a remix | Karaoke and backing tracks, practising an instrument, covers |
Speech over noise
A vocal remover is built for music. If the problem is wind, a fan or a busy street behind someone talking, you need the voice kept and the noise thrown away, which is what noise mode here does.
Songs work both ways
Music mode returns the voice and the music as two tracks. Keep whichever one you came for: the voice on its own, or the music track as your instrumental. You don't need a separate vocal remover for that.
Know what you need
Ask which part you will use. If it is the person talking or singing, isolate the voice. If it is the beat or the melody to sing over, remove the vocal. One upload here gives you both.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a voice isolator?
A voice isolator takes a recording where someone speaks or sings over music or noise and gives you the voice on its own. This one also gives you the other part, the music or the noise, as a separate track, so you can keep either.
Is Voice Isolator free?
Yes. You get 10 free minutes every day without an account, and you download the full result, not a preview. Free minutes reset at midnight UTC. Longer files, up to 60 minutes, and batches use paid minutes: $4.90 for 120 minutes that never expire, or $9.90 a month for 300 minutes.
Can I isolate the voice from a video?
Yes. Drop in an MP4, MOV or WebM file. Only its sound is uploaded; when the voice is ready, your browser puts it back into the original video, so you download a video with just the voice. You can also download the voice as MP3, WAV or FLAC.
Which mode should I pick, music or noise?
You don't have to pick before you upload. Every file starts in music mode, which suits songs, covers and videos with background music. If the background is wind, traffic, crowds, fans or hum, press Re-run in noise mode on the result. That re-run is free.
What happens to my files?
Your file and its results are stored in a private place only your browser session or account can open, through links that expire. Results can be downloaded for 24 hours after they are ready; your upload and the results are then deleted automatically, at the latest within two days.
How do I use Voice Isolator?
Drop a video or audio file into the box and wait about a minute. Every file starts in music mode; if the background is noise, re-run it free in noise mode. Play the original, the voice and the other track side by side, then download the one you need.
